The David A. Bobilya Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award recognizes the importance of individual board members in nonprofit organizations in four focus areas: governance, leadership, financial sustainability and program impact.
Foellinger Foundation’s board of directors established this award in honor of the late David A. Bobilya, a long-term servant leader not only to Foellinger Foundation, but many nonprofit organizations throughout Allen County.

A $25,000 operating grant will be awarded to the recipient’s nominating organization.
To nominate a member of your board, please review the Bobilya Nomination Guidelines and complete the Bobilya Nomination Template. The Nomination Guidelines and Template can be accessed by clicking the buttons to the right.
Please email a completed nomination template and all other required attachments to Amanda Jamison at amanda@foellinger.org. A list of all required attachments can be found in the Bobilya Nomination Guidelines.
The Foundation’s marketing consultant will contact your nominee to schedule a headshot photo session. The nominee’s photo will be used for social media and event purposes. Your nominee will receive a digital copy of their photo in November.

About David Bobilya
Mr. Bobilya exemplified the character of leadership, providing strength and wisdom for many of Foellinger Foundation’s efforts. He served the Foundation for 16 years in various roles and was board chair from 2011 to 2014.
