Assistant Controller
Mindy is a graduate of Indiana University and a Certified Public Accountant. She is grateful to serve area nonprofits because the services they provide are improving peoples’ lives and our great community. Mindy loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, walking, and reading.
Chief Program Officer
Amanda received her bachelor's degree from Butler University. She has over ten years of experience at a community foundation and a background in the nonprofit sector. Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, kayaking, and the outdoors.
Events and Communications Coordinator
RasAmen supports the Foundation’s events and communications initiatives, with more than ten years of experience in marketing, event planning, and community engagement. Leading by listening, she is passionate about creating meaningful connections through compassion and understanding. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in History and Economics from Connecticut College and a Grant Administration Certification from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. In her free time, Ras enjoys reading, writing, watching anime, and engaging in outdoor activities like playing in the rain and kayaking!
Chief Financial Officer
Darryl has served the philanthropic sector since 2005, focused on the financial sustainability of nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, Financial Executives International, and Foundation Financial Officers Group. He is a Lutheran Foundation delegate. Darryl and his wife, Tammy, are blessed with four kids and enjoy exploring craft breweries.
Administrative Assistant
Bev joined Foellinger Foundation in 2018 and has over forty years of office experience. She is at the center of the Foundation’s office activities, including meeting and event setup, administration support for the Leadership Lab, coordination of equipment and building maintenance, and more. When she’s not at her desk, she can be found in the basement getting her steps in. Bev and her husband, Bill, have two sons and two cats.
Program & Grants Manager
Lisa Pickerman earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Institute of Technology. Her experience includes more than seven years working with nonprofits and individuals through the grant and scholarship process. She is driven to form strong relationships with those she serves, and she enjoys knowing that her work supports organizations making a difference in the lives of our community members. Lisa enjoys spending time with her three children and husband, reading, crocheting, and meticulously caring for her lawn.
Executive Assistant
Terry is a Certified Administrative Professional through the International Association of Administrative Professionals with additional designations in Office Management and Technical Applications. She has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1999, and in her role at the Foundation, she provides comprehensive support to the President/CEO, Board of Directors, and standing/ad hoc committees. Terry also coordinates the Foundation’s IT and building security. She has two sons, three grandchildren, and three very loving (and “entitled”) cats.
President and CEO
Sarah’s experience includes nearly thirty years in the accounting and banking industry before she became the President and CEO of Foellinger Foundation in 2024. Her history with the Foundation dates back 25 years, managing the audit as a CPA at an independent firm for 10 years. She later served on various Foellinger Foundation committees and the board of directors. An avid community advocate, she has dedicated her time to various nonprofit boards, committees, and other volunteer efforts, and believes in their ability to create meaningful change for Allen County residents. A native of Allen County, Sarah enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending Lake Pleasant summers with family and friends.
Program Officer
Mary Tyndall started her career in TV journalism, and since then, her experience has grown to include more than two decades in grant management, nonprofit program administration, public relations, fund development, public outreach, and strategic communication. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and English from DePauw University and graduated from the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance’s Mutz Institute. She believes in the power of collaboration and is always seeking to learn and broaden her perspective by meeting new people. Mary enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
