Our meeting spaces are named for and inspired by the Foellinger family’s interests and history. Learn more about our founders, and their dreams for Allen County, below!

The Bandshell Room

The bandshell is the area of a theatre that acts as an acoustic sounding board. Connecting to the family’s interest in the arts, this name also symbolizes the relationship the Foundation has with grantees and the grantees have with the residents they serve—providing the infrastructure for each to project their voices, and actions, in the community.

The Cabin Room

While this name reflects the Foellinger family’s passion for the outdoors, it also represents the significant interest the family took in aviation. The cabin of an aircraft is where passengers sit, and this space is pressurized to ensure adequate oxygen. This is symbolic of the Foellinger Foundation space—it is a place where community leaders come to move ideas forward, and this space is just one of many where they can do so.
