Welcome RasAmen Oladuwa, Events and Communications Coordinator!
Meet RasAmen Oladuwa (who fondly goes by Ras), our new Events and Communications Coordinator! Ras brings over a decade of experience in marketing, event planning, and community engagement to Foellinger Foundation's initiatives. Her journey into community engagement began with a personal connection to Foellinger Foundation, which supported a nonprofit that significantly impacted her during her childhood. This experience ignited her passion for creating opportunities that empower individuals and communities. Leading by listening, Ras strives to create meaningful connections through compassion and understanding. She believes that opportunity is the cornerstone of growth and is dedicated to authentically communicating the stories of the Foundation’s grantees, further connecting our Allen County community to Foellinger Foundation’s core values.
RasAmen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Economics from Connecticut College and a Grant Administration Certification from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. She resonates deeply with Foellinger Foundation's motto, "independent from being dependent," and is eager to contribute to the Foundation’s mission. In her free time, Ras enjoys reading, writing, watching anime, and engaging in outdoor activities like playing in the rain and kayaking!
“RasAmen’s background in marketing and event planning combined with her enthusiasm for genuine community connectivity will positively impact the Foundation, our grantees, and the Allen County residents they serve,” said Sarah Strimmenos, President and CEO.
Please join us in welcoming RasAmen to our team!
